这里是几个普通美国网民对撞机事件的看法，希望有点意思。
1。China is right
It may or may not be true that the Navy spy plane which collided with the Chinese
fighter jet was in Chinese air space. That''s hardly relevant. What is obvious
is that the plane was spying on China. Now the Chinese have the crew and the
plane -- which is loaded with the top-most secret reconnaisance equipment the
US has. And the US wants the Chinese to a) send back the spies without punishing
them and b) not look at the goodies on the spy plane.
What are they smoking out there in DC anyway? The spooks got caught. Now they
pay.

2。Great way to increase funding to that sector. now that china has all our
secrets
we will need to spend much more to develop bigger and better technology to continue
spying on them.

3。 Plane shouldn''t have been there...
How convenient for Bush Inc. that the mainstream press is portraying the EP-3
flight as "routine". The plane was clearly spying on Chinese communications,
so the Chinese sent fighters to intercept it. We''d do the same if a Chinese
spy plane were discovered off the coast of, say, Maryland. Actually, no, we
wouldn''t just intercept it...we''d shoot it down. So what gives the Bushies
the moral ground to demand the safe return of the plane and crew? They were
caught red-handed in an act of espionage, and the idiots in the White House
have the gall to demand their return? I know Bush is just a dumb mouthpiece,
but I didn''t think his military advisors would be naive enough to use the same
fuzzy logic.
DISCLAIMER: I certainly hope those EP-3 crewmembers are returned safely, but
I don''t think Bush is in any position to demand anything. Once again, the US
is the self-righteous pariah of the international community...
飞机本来就不应该在那。。。

4。Immediately assume that the Chinese are justified in their response.
Who of us really knows whether our spy plane was over international waters or
in Chinese airspace. I have no reason to believe the Chinese officials'' claims.
By the same token I have no reason to believe our own government''s claims,
as they have repeatedly lied to the American public about everything imagineable.
In my opinion, our president is a cocky, arrogant fool for immediately making
such demands on the Chinese government. One would think that this situation
demands tact, courtesy and diplomacy, as we have, once again foolishly jeopardized
our relations with another member of the International community. I think we
all know, as Joe Morse mentioned, what our government would have done if the
shoe were on the other foot. The headlines would read; "Chinese Spy Plane
Mysteriously Explodes In Midair Off The Coast Of California".
How SHOULD we view this situation? We can''t believe a government
that we are unfamiliar with. We can''t believe our own government.
We can''t believe the press, because they only tell us what the government wants
us to hear. It''s as if the truth is no longer available.
I think we are just supposed to be good little boys and girls, dummy up, go
to work, pay a third of what we make to support this whole "mysterious"
charade, don''t ask questions, eat at McDonald''s,
watch mind-numbing sitcoms, go to Disneyland once a year, and die.
目前看中国人的回应是正当的
我们中谁也不知道我们的间谍飞机是在国际水域上飞还是在中国领空上飞。没有理由让我相信中国官方的观点。同样也没有理由让我们相信我们政府的说法，因为他们过去对任何可以想象的事情都不断地对美国公众撒谎。我认为，我们的总统马上对中国提出这样的要求证明他是一个好斗而且傲慢的白痴。我们都知道，如果换个位置我们的政府会怎么干。报刊大标题一定是：中国间谍飞机在加利福尼亚海湾上空神秘爆炸。
我们该怎样看待这个事件呢？我们不能相信一个我们不熟悉的政府。我们不能相信我们自己的政府。我们不能相信媒体，因为他们只告诉我们政府想让我们知道的东西。事实似乎已无法获得。他们希望我们做好男孩，好女孩，没头脑，上班，拿出三分之一的钱去支持这类“神秘”游戏，不问问题，吃麦当劳，看让人麻木的肥皂剧，每年去迪斯尼一次，然后死掉。
